Simplicity On Line

There are some new Simplicity patterns on their website, should anyone be interested. There is a dress with matching coat that I like very much. There's a cute top with frills that would be cute on a young, slender gal.

Have a great weekend!

Gwen, you COULD go to "Enablers Anonymous",ya know!! ;)
I like the Runway (?) dress. The cute top with a ruffle has raglan sleeves, eh... Down & dumpy on me ;).

Let's see -- I believe I have most of them on my list. Good thing they are $1.99 at Jo's this weekend!

My local fabric store had a sale on Simplicity and New Look patterns not too long ago. I think that they were $1.99 ea. Basically let's just say that I cleaned up house. I managed to find around 10 or so of each brand and a lot of separates and dresses. I love a good deal!

There are several possibilities for that pattern. I really like it. Visions of lace, dupioni, pique, sateen....the list goes on and on. Can't wait to see what you do with it. :)

It really was like the holidays at my house when I realized my box was from Clotilde. Sometimes I think I like new notions more than I like fabric. I still haven't opened the chaco liner pens. I'm waiting until I trace out my first Ottobre pattern!! Have you seen those two notions on the Simplicity.com site? One cuts strips, the other makes bias tape.

It just seems too early to be thinking about sewing fall fashions. But I do like the dress and long jacket combo.

I noticed the new rotary cutter and bias maker Christy Sews. Looks like Christmas presents to me...for me of course.

Hi Gwen, Thank you so much for all the great question ideas for my blog! Now I'm starting to feel a bit guilty - are you sure you don't want to keep even some of them for yourself? That would be a lot of content for your own blog... It's up to you - let me know what you think on my blog or at gwendolyn_campbell@hotmail.com. Thanks again! :)
Take care, (the other) Gwen

Thanks for the update! I love to see what is new. And thanks for your recent comment on my blog-- you are so right about ease. Although I know the ease I like on most fitted/semi fitted garments, I don't have a clue what ease I like for loose fitting patterns. I just trust the pattern companies and make it like they say--and then learn the hard way!

Thanks for your very clear instructions for posting on the sidebar. It was so simple that I should have figured it out myself - guess my head was into fabric and patterns. I'm off to check out the new patterns by Simplicity. Don't ask me where I will store them, but I'm sure I'll find somewhere! JoAnne's is having their $1.99 sale here now. I don't resist pattern sales much better than fabric sales....just an addict I guess. Hope you are having a good weekend.
