The Grays (and a book)

Lining is ready to be inserted into the yellow jacket.  Wondering what color to wear with  yellow,  I'm thinking gray would be pretty for spring.   I found a good gray, not too dark, not too light.  I bought enough to make gray pants and a  gray jacket, too.  And a gray paisley for lining.  Gray can be very drab, so I'll have to find a way to liven it up.

This book just kept calling me, and I answered the call.

I'm not doing a review, because Karen wrote a very, very good review, which encouraged me to buy it.

I should be able to put the lining in that jacket tomorrow.  Yay!

I have a yellow jacket all cut out, but I cannot find time to get to the sewing! Both daughters have birthdays this month. I like your idea of yellow and grey together. They make a nice transition from winter to spring. We are all ready for Spring!

Add some sage green to that mix, or some purple! Either one would add some additional pops of color!

I gravitate to gray and your's will be lovely with the yellow. Great choice IMO!

I like your color combinations! Wendy's book is flying to me now. I wonder when I'll have time to read it. Have fun finishing your jacket.

I think that gray and yellow make a wonderful combination, very pretty and sophisticated.

Yellow and grey look great. You could also try yellow and navy or yellow and black. A bit higher contrast. Bet you'll find things in your closet that will work, once the jacket moves in there.
