Shirt in Progress

I have progressed on the shirt, and put the collar/collar band on. The collar band is a tricky, and an area that if not sewn precisely, screams homemade! I used Pam's tutorial for applying the collar and band. It turned out perfectly! Yippee! I bow to this shirt maker, extraordinaire! If anyone can build a shirt, it is her.

I'm using a red plaid print for the inside of the collar band. I needed this to go together nicely for me today. It did. And, it made me happy!

It feels soooooo good to sew again!

A beautiful job on the collar. I've been working hard to get them right as well and I think I've finally got it right. Still scares the life out of me every time I go to sew one, but yours is perfect!

Gwen,
Your shirt looks wonderful. Pam and I share the love of shirtmaking and I hope you are now hooked as well. Pam has the best shirt interfacings I have found. I use her Pro Woven and Pro sheer and recommend them in my shirt patterns.
Keep sewing.
