And the back. Love the pleats!
I added a turned up cuff and buttons to the sleeves.
This jacket has a retro-feel with the large collar and pleated, swingy back. It's easy construction, easy fit. I will make it again, probably in the spring.
Have a great holiday. Hope Santa brings you lots of sewing goodies!

Very cute! I like the pleated back as well, and the turned up cuffs are adorable. Fine work, as always!
It does have a retro feel without being too costume-y. I especially like the sleeve cuffs.
Beautiful jacket - I love this style - it's going to work so well with so many garments. Your workmanship looks superb!
I love the jacket. Did you draft the sleeve cuffs or take them from another pattern? They look like they were drafted for the jacket pattern exclusively. Your basting looks so tailorish. I really like that.
A book I ordered for Christmas came early. The Dressmaker's Handbook of Couture Sewing Techniques by Linda Maynard. I'm still looking it over.
Wow! Looks fantastic. I especially like the cuff detail.
Gwen - you know I've made this jacket so I already love it! And your jacket is another terrific version of it! But I had a question, why did you baste the edges? Inquiring minds...
Your jacket looks terrific. all the details are perfect and the cuffs are my favorite.
That is a great collar! What a fun jacket.
Love it! Those cuffs are gorgeous.
