I have sent an email to Simplicity.com expressing my distaste for their new website. I'm trying to research patterns, and their pages take forever to load, if at all. It's difficult to navigate about the site.
I encourage any of you who do not like their new format to take a moment and drop an email to them. Perhaps if they get enough complaints they will revamp the site.

I hate their new site too! It takes forever to load each picture and locks up my set.

I agree with ya'll. I will pop over and do the same.
Can I add an Amen a Hallelujah! I can run around the block faster than that site loads...and the fact that I can no longer download pictures annoys me too! I've sent an email back at the beginning of the reno...it's just sad that they still haven't gotten it together!
I'm jumping right on this bandwagon. The new site is terrible!! Slow and useless! I look up Simplicity patterns on PR these days.
I haven't tried checking it out yet, but I will.
Actually I just tried it and found it fine. Then again, I was formerly on dial up. Now I use satellite broadband. I thought it was fine.

I agree - it's awful. Good thinking on sending them an email. I guess it'll be more useful than simply whining on my blog, as I did a few weeks ago... *blushes*
Well, I have a long problem with Simplicity and McCalls. I really hate their patterns as they are so poorly marked. Heaven forbid if you want to make any alterations - there's no idea where the waist is, bust, shoulder - it's just all a guess. It's a rare event when I even consider Simplicity, but I haven't used one of their patterns in ages.
I agree completely. I still haven't figured out how to get to the additional pattern information. It took so long to load I gave up.
