Introducing---

NETasha! I have seen these cute little netbooks running around blogs and other places as well. My daughter and I have discussed them for a few weeks. We want one. Then we talk each other out of one because we don't really need another computer. Back and forth.

This week, my DH and I were out shopping, and decided to end the misery and get one for our daughter, and one for me. They are the Acer Aspire One. LOVE it. Totally. I was a bit nervous, buying something like that for my computer geeky daughter, but she seems to really like hers also, even though her heart lies with a different brand.

Today, I ordered a cute little pink case for NETasha, and I bought a thumb drive, so I can transfer information back and forth between my laptop and the netbook.

As for sewing, I did get a CJ Inset Jacket cut out, and started sewing it. The last couple of months have been terribly busy, and not leaving much time for sewing. I'm too tired at night to sew well. I'll get back to it soon. Summer will be over and things will slow down some. I know I'm not alone with time issues, because blogging in general has slowed.

Looking forward to Project Runway tonight, starting at 8:00. While watching that, I will start to customize NETasha and transfer some files.

Enjoy the show tonight!

So how did you like the show? I can see it sparking many ideas and jump starting our slow sewing summer. Chris should have never won the All-Star. I just love PR and what it does to us :)

Love your new toy - not sure I want something so tiny. I already have that in my phone.

Gwen, how much fun the notebook will be. I wish sometimes that I had a wireless computer. Especially since I had my surgery. Going up and down my stairs has not been fun. But, I have to go down to sew anyway, so I usually just check my blog, etc. when I'm down there to sew. You are always so encouraging to everyone else that you deserve a little something for yourself. I always get excited when you've left a comment for me. Thanks. For a good laugh go to the iknowthismuchistrue blog listed on my sidebar!! I laughed till I cried. This is my oldest DDs blog.

I have that same netbook... it was a Christmas gift from my husband. I love mine! It sits perfectly next to my sewing machine and I toss it in my purse and take it everywhere!

I have been thinking about a netbook. I need to learn more about them. Glad you got something cut out to sew.
